Proposal Manager - Primary MV Switchgears

ppWe are looking for a Proposal Manager for Primary MV Switchgears, with experience in tendering activities for Medium Voltage switchgears and protection systems, to be hired on a permanent contract in Milan, within the Electrification Automation area. /p pIn this role, you will contribute to defining the best technical and commercial solutions, supporting and progressively managing the end‑to‑end bid process for public and private tenders, ensuring high‑quality and competitive offers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyze customer requests, single line diagrams and technical specifications in order to identify the most suitable technical and economical solutions, based on the available portfolio. /li liPrepare accurate offer evaluations and cost calculations, according to technical requirements, using configuration tools and following all applicable processes and policies. /li liManage the bid process end‑to‑end, with increasing autonomy, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal company standards, and delivering high‑quality offers. /li liEnsure customer expectations are met across technical, commercial and contractual aspects. /li liTake full ownership of standard bids and progressively support more complex or strategic opportunities, with guidance when required. /li liSupport the Sales organization by contributing to customer relationships, including participation in customer meetings when needed. /li liCoordinate and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, internal departments, third parties) to ensure consistency in terms of technical solution, pricing, risk assessment, contractual and safety aspects. /li liCollaborate with Headquarters, factories, regional organizations and Product Managers. /li liParticipate in internal and/or external kick‑off meetings to support a smooth handover from tender to order execution. /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of proposal processes, tools, templates and best practices, sharing lessons learned within the team. /li liActively participate in training, knowledge sharing and capability‑building initiatives, strengthening technical and proposal management competencies. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of experience in proposal / tendering activities for Primary MV Switchgears or within the electrical / electrotechnical discipline. /li liBasic knowledge of tender processes for EPC projects, public customers, international projects or complex plants. /li liSolid understanding of MV electrical distribution systems, electrical schemes and tender specifications. /li liGood organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work in a structured, target‑oriented environment. /li liStrong sense of ownership and accountability, with the motivation to progressively take on broader responsibilities. /li liCuriosity for new technologies, combined with a proactive and structured problem‑solving mindset. /li liWillingness to continuously learn and grow beyond daily operational activities. /li liEffective communication with multiple stakeholders, including senior roles. /li liRespect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co‑create and share knowledge. /li liAvailability for national business trips and occasional international travel. /li liEligibility to work in Italy. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience or exposure to LV switchgears. /li liFamiliarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools. /li liInterest in developing commercial, contractual and financial awareness. /li liTechnical or academic background in Electrical or Electrotechnical Engineering (or equivalent). /li liFluent professional English (written and spoken), required for proposal preparation and stakeholder interaction. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liFlexibility: trust‑based environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results; hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools. /li liWelfare: flexible welfare programs, health insurance extendable to your family, accident insurance, and free on‑site lunch options. /li liNever stop growing: continuous learning opportunities, tailored development paths and individual learning journeys. /li liInclusive culture: a collaborative and respectful team environment where you can truly be yourself. /li /ul pSiemens is an equal opportunity employer, offering a safe and inclusive work environment, based on mutual respect and the appreciation of uniqueness, guaranteeing equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates to unleash their full potential. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
