The research activity aims to develop the interactions and synergies that have emerged between the two different projects developed at DICAM in the European project "Green-health-safety Nexus for New Urban spaces - GreeNexUS." Specifically, the findings of the projects "Sustainable Bio-pavements for Low-emitting Urban Surfaces" and "Impact Absorbing Pavements with Improved Accessibility Features" will be combined with the aim of optimizing the materials developed for shock-absorbing pavements through the addition of bio-binders, improving their eco-compatibility and reducing their environmental impact.
