ph3Senior Bid Manager – Telco Transformation /h3 pWe are looking for a senior Bid Manager to help ALTEN Italy structure, coordinate and improve its response to strategic Telco opportunities, particularly in transformation, managed services and complex opportunities. /p pThis role is central to closing one of our current gaps: transforming client access and emerging strategic positioning into credible, competitive and better-coordinated proposals. /p pThis is not an administrative bid support role. /p pIt is a high-impact orchestration role requiring commercial intelligence, rigor, speed, strong writing capability, and the confidence to drive multiple stakeholders toward a winning proposal. /p pThe right candidate will support ALTEN in high-quality strategic processes and actively contributing to the Telco business growth through best practices and methodologies. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and coordinate end-to-end bid processes for strategic Telco opportunities /li liWork closely with Business Managers, Solution Architects, delivery stakeholders and leadership to structure competitive responses /li liDrive bid governance, timelines, workstreams and deliverable qualitySupport bid qualification and bid / no-bid process /li liTranslate client needs into coherent proposal structures and win-oriented narratives /li liEnsure consistency across technical, commercial, operational and financial proposal components /li liImprove the quality of executive writing, value proposition articulation and overall proposal packaging /li liSupport to create repeatable bid assets, templates and working methods for complex Telco opportunities /li liContribute to competitive positioning and response strategy /li liSupport cost logic and collaboration with finance / controlling where needed /li liAct as a quality gate on proposal clarity, coherence and competitiveness /li /ul h3What Success Looks Like /h3 pIn the first 12 months, the person is expected to: /p ul liimprove the overall quality and consistency of strategic bid responses /li libring stronger governance and discipline to complex pursuits /li lisupport a more robust bid / no-bid process /li lihelp ALTEN become more credible in transformation-oriented opportunities contribute to measurable improvement in conversion quality and proposal competitiveness /li /ul h3Technical / Professional Requirements /h3 h3Must-have /h3 ul li7+ years of experience in pre-sales, bid management, proposal management, solution selling support, or complex deal pursuit environments with TELCO clients /li liProven experience with medium-to-large bids in one or more of the following: /li litelecom /li limanaged services /li lioutsourcing /li litransformation programs /li liStrong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders under time pressure /li liExcellent written communication and proposal structuring skills /li liStrong understanding of bid governance, timelines, dependencies and review cycles /li liAbility to connect technical, commercial and financial dimensions into one coherent response /li liExperience in solution-oriented proposal environments, not only administrative tender management /li /ul h3Nice-to-have /h3 ul liExperience in Telco transformation / operator environments /li liExposure to managed services or SLA-based models /li liExperience in competitive / strategic bids rather than only framework tenders /li liFamiliarity with pricing logic, margin sensitivity and proposal economics /li /ul pThe total compensation for this position will be set in a range between 60.000 to 85.000 euros (Yearly gross salary + bonus). /p h3Why choose ALTEN? /h3 h3Technological challenges /h3 pWe believe that technology has great potential to improve our future, which is why we seek out talented individuals who are motivated to build tomorrow’s world today.
