Mission

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer - Aerospace & Defence sec tor to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and deployment of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. The role involves working across the full AI lifecycle, from data processing and model development to deployment and operationalization in production environments.

What is the challenge?

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of AI projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and MLOps workflows.
• Integrate AI solutions into software applications and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, data scientists, and system architects.
• Optimize AI workloads for GPU and high-performance computing environments.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies.

Technical skills

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering within industrial or applied research environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and AI project lifecycle.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and/or Java .
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Proven experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, LangChain, and LangGraph .
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning model development, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib .
• Experience with GPU-based computing and high-performance computing environments.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix , Docker , and automation/orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD pipelines).
