GCP Data Engineer/Data Architect

Overview

As a Data Architect at NTT DATA, you design, build, and govern data processing systems to empower data-driven decision making. You will create scalable, secure data pipelines in GCP, turning raw data into actionable insights that support business value. You collaborate with business partners to align data solutions with priorities, and you contribute to planning and delivery of data initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud-native data architecture at a global technology leader.

Responsabilità

• Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines in GCP
• Apply data-driven analysis to understand business needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address data systems requirements
• Participate in project planning, milestones, and resource estimation
• Track activities and ensure task execution

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• 5-10 years of data engineering experience
• Proficiency in Scala/Java/Python
• Advanced SQL skills with BigQuery preference
• Knowledge of Google Cloud services: Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion
• Experience with workflow management
• Understanding of GCP batch and streaming architectures
• Strong data modeling and ELT-focused data pipelines
• Data migration and Data Warehouse experience
• Ingestion/transformation design for multi-source data
• Familiarity with developer tools and CI/CD
• Excellent communication and user-focused approach
