Global Solution Sales Manager - Distribution Automation

In this role you will drive global growth for Distribution Automation solutions, shaping the go-to-market and coordinating with regional teams and the Europe-based CoE. You will own global sales targets, develop strategic opportunities, and ensure alignment with product, marketing, and delivery functions. You’ll engage utilities and system integrators at the executive level to design value-driven, customized solutions. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role with a strong focus on collaboration and results.Retribuzione / Benefits
- Develop and implement a global go-to-market strategy for Distribution Automation
- Identify and pursue opportunities across regions and segments to build a robust global pipeline
- Own global sales targets and consolidate forecasts for executive leadership
- Build and maintain executive relationships with utilities and strategic partners
- Promote a consultative sales approach and tailor offerings with product/engineering input
- Provide direction and coaching to regional and local sales teams, aligning them with the global strategy
- Leverage the Distribution Automation CoE in Europe for pre-sales support and solution design
- Coordinate with Marketing, Product Management/R&D, and Project Delivery/Supply Chain to ensure coherent messaging and delivery
- Define and execute a global channel strategy and onboard key partners
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales tactics; advise on pricing and deal approvals
- Lead and mentor global solution sales specialists and act as a global spokesperson
- Ensure compliance with internal/external regulations and uphold Hitachi Energy values
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
- 5–7 years in technical B2B sales or business development; 5+ years in leadership with global or multi-region scope
- Experience in power systems, grid automation, or industrial automation sales
- Strong understanding of Distribution Automation technologies (feeder automation, SCADA/DMS, protection relays, RTUs, networks) and OT/IT convergence
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Track record of achieving sales targets and managing large accounts or global initiatives
