This is a fieldposition; the Assistant Project Manager works on-sitedaily. /p bEssentialJob Responsibilities /b ul liInitiate andmaintainliaison with prime client and A/E contacts tofacilitateconstruction activities. /li liAssistproject managementwithfinancialmanagementof projects, includingOwner Pay Applications, Change Orders,and CostReports. /li liProvide quantity take-offs for change-order estimates. /li liAssistproject management in securing subcontractor pricing. /li liResponsible for managingsubcontractors and supplierswith regards tosubmittals,deliveries, schedules, availability of materials, pending estimates. /li liVisit supplier facilities, asdirectedandrequiredtofacilitateor expedite deliveries. /li liAssistmanagement in producing meeting minutes, circulate copies to attendees. /li liAttend periodic meetings to coordinate progress and discuss changes and project issues. /li liCompile dates and prepare various periodic or special reports, asrequired. /li liCoordinate MEP subcontractor layouts and system start-up commissioning and produce as-builtdrawings. /li liPerform various aspects of document management, including distributing,managingand tracking RFI’s, ASI’s/CCDs,and field reportsandmaintainingaccurateand up to date contract documents. /li liReviewing,coordinatingand tracking submittals, shop drawings and samples, and ensuring that the submittal process translates to the field. /li liAssisting with the enforcement of jobsite safety protocols; and helping to ensure everyone on site is aware of and following DOC safety rules and regulations. /li /ul bPosition Qualifications /b ul liIn-depthunderstanding of all major construction methods and procedures. /li liStronglistening andcommunication skills, including the ability to resolve conflict. /li liAbility toidentifyand resolve complex issues. /li liStrong oral and written communication skills, capable of dealing with clients, vendors, architects,etc, in aprofessional manner. /li liAbility to create and support team morale. /li liA strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude. /li liDetailed oriented and capable of multi- tasking. /li /ul bEducation Experience /b ul liExtensiveknowledge of construction practices and procedures. /li liFour-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. /li li3-5 years’experiencein similar facility construction projectmanagement and related functions plus the willingness to learn and continuously improve processes arerequired. /li liExperience insupervisoryrole with ademonstratedhistory ofdecision-making/problem-solving skills are essential. /li liProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procoreor similar), accounting cost management software (Sage or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar). /li liOSHA 30 Certification, LEED Certification, Lean Certification, CPR/First Aid Training is a plus. /li /ul bWorking Conditions /b pThe workingconditionsof this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside, traverse a construction site,utilizingstairs, ladders,etcandutilizepersonal protective equipment. /p pOther Requirements /p pEmployees are expected to adhere to the equal employment opportunity policies and practices of Daniel O'Connell's Sons in order to ensure that all employees are treated equally and that no distinctions are made in rates of pay, opportunities for advancement, including upgrading, promotion and transfer because of an employee’s age,color, race, religious belief, sex, sexual orientation, handicap or national origin.Equal employment opportunity regardless of race, religion, creed,color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, disability (including physical, mental, intellectual and learning disabilities), pregnancy or pregnancy related condition, AIDS/HIV, sickle cell trait, genetic information or predisposing genetic characteristics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, domestic violence victim status, military status, marital status, or any other classification protected under state or federal law. /p pLeggi di più sull'azienda /p h3Informazioni sull'azienda /h3 pDoc /p pWe're intently focused on delivering the buildings, facilities, and infrastructure that sustain, educate, and entertain the communities we serve. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
