We believe in equal opportunities and fair pay practices. /ppLearn more about working with us at topconcareers.com /ppWe are looking for a qualified bSenior Software Engineer, Field Survey Applications (C++) /b. /ph3Job Purpose /h3pTheb Senior Software Engineer, Field Applications, /bwill work on the development of Field software for Windows/Linux/Android/iOS to support wide range of Topcon and 3rd party equipment like GNSS Receivers, Robotic Optical Totals Stations, depth finders, laser range finders. /ppDevelopment skills and experience in: C++, QML, Communication protocols. /ph3Core Job Responsibilities /h3ulliWorks with the project manager, team leader, and software team to plan and manage delivery schedules /liliActs as the single point of contact for all issues related to a particular software module development, high-level design, and delivery, and as such, works with all other engineering disciplines. /liliEvaluates and schedules all changes in the scope of the module design and delivery /liliPerforms modules maintenance, modifications, and enhancements to new/existing systems through programming, testing, and documenting. /liliImplements support of Topcon Optical Robotic Total Stations, Topcon GNSS Receivers, Mass Data collection devices, and other equipment in the Geomatics Field Survey software for Android/iOS/Windows/Linux written in Qt/Qml/C++. /liliSupports our mature software written in MFC /liliImplements Surveying routines /liliFollows, recommends, and implements software processes /liliProvides technical directions to others as necessary /liliAnalyze and resolve technical and application problems /li /ulh3Minimum Job Requirements /h3h3Education Experience /h3ulliDegree in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field /liliOverall software development experience of at least 3 years. /liliExperience in software development process implementation /liliExperience with software development tools (configuration management, design, emulation, debugging, compilers, static analysis, ai, test, etc.) /lili3+ years of professional experience in C++ development /liliExperience with Windows development is needed /liliKnowledge of Qt and QML is a plus /liliExperience in supporting industrial or any other time of hardware equipment is a great plus /liliExperience with Linux, Android, or iOS development is a plus /liliExperience with computational geometry, spatial algorithms and/or 3D Rendering (DirectX, OpenGL) will be a great plus /liliExperience with Geodesy, Geodetic Coordinate systems, Geoid, Vertical Datum, GNSS and/or Optical Survey, CAD will be a great plus /li /ulh3Knowledge, Skills Attributes /h3ulliStrong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. /liliKnowledge of algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts. /liliFamiliarity with cross-platform development and GUI frameworks. /liliKnowledge of bug tracking systems (JIRA) and version control systems. /liliUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing /liliExpert knowledge in C++, Standard Library, Boost /liliKnowledge of network protocol analyzers and communication protocols used over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, BLE, RS232 is a great plus. /liliA good command (both written and speaking) of the ENGLISH language is required for the job /liliKnowledge of the following is a great advantage: c++20, boost, asio, gRPC, protobuf, mqtt, ntrip, rtcm, cryptography, static analysis, memory optimization, C++ templates, sql, multithreading, lockfree, docker, geometry, eigen, cgal, tin, surfaces, corridors, roading, parametric curves, splines, ESRI, Bentley, Autodesk, Civil3D, Revit, DWG, ODA, cogo, geodesy, coordinate systems, LandXML, shapefile, las, point clouds, numerical methods. /li /ulh3Working Conditions /h3ulliWe offer flexibility in how and where you work, including both remote and hybrid options. /liliTo support collaboration and team connection, we ideally seek candidates who can travel to our Concordia office regularly, even if not on a daily basis. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliCompetitive salary package: within €50,000 - €57,000 gross annual salary, based on skills and experience, plus a variable bonus tied to both individual and company performance. /liliMeal vouchers, flexible working arrangements, ongoing learning opportunities, and the chance to collaborate on global projects with teams around the world. /li /ulpTopcon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, genetic information, or other legally protected status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
