This position supports the Financial Controller in overseeing financial reporting, risk management, and audit activities. The role is pivotal in maintaining a robust control environment and ensuring adherence to regulatory and tax requirements. /p pThis is a 9 month contract to provide cover whilst our current Assistant Financial Controller supports an internal project. /p h3Principal accountabilities /h3 ul liEnsure accurate and timely delivery of financial reports /li liSupports the Financial Controller in ensuring integrity of statutory reports using local accounting knowledge /li liProvides input to the fixed asset impairment process as required in liaison with the BPO /li liAdvise the business on accounting implications of major capital investment decisions /li liSupports the Financial controller in monitoring and remediating control deficienciesto ensure effective accounting system and polices /li liCo-ordinates local audit activity (internal and external) with the business and provides internal and external auditors with requested documentation /li liEnsure full compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting obligations. /li liOwns the physical asset tagging and verification process where required locally /li liSupport payments process (where they must be performed in market) /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred). /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting; experience within a Big 4 environment is advantageous. /li liAdvanced Excel and MS Office skills; experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is desirable. /li liExperience with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics 365 (Finance Operations), is strongly preferred. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
