Area Manager, FC Operations, Fulfillment & Operations Management

Overview

In this Area Manager role, you will lead a site-wide team to ensure safe, high-quality, and productive operations that meet customer demand. You'll drive a culture of safety and wellbeing while guiding process improvements across shifts. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will standardize practices and oversee projects that boost productivity and service quality. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership position in a fast-paced fulfillment environment with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Responsabilità

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
• Analyse and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity
• Oversee projects to streamline processes and increase quality of service
• Analyse shift performance and implement actions to improve operational excellence
• Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices
• Own and drive process improvements within your area
• Mentor new managers and model leadership behavior

Requisiti fondamentali

• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written Italian (CEFR C1)
• A degree
• Relevant experience in people management
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including peers and leadership
• Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (CEFR C1)
• Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
• Preferred: experience in logistics or similar environments
