About the location

About the role

The Host(ess) is the first interaction for guests in our Restaurants and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. It is part of the Zelo Restaurant and reports into the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations regarding the setup of the table sections.
• Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements. Check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

Qualifications

• One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet.
• Previous employment experience within a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & Beverage computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Schedule & Hours

This position is based at the Four Seasons Milan and we will offer a fixed‑term contract.

Requirements

You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
