Pmma Process Engineer - Italy

ppIn this role you will drive process development and continuous improvement, collaborating with RD and operations to deliver optimized processes and reliable equipment performance. You will produce specifications, balance material and utilities, and size installations while mentoring trainees. You’ll contribute to safety reviews, start-up integrity, and ongoing performance enhancements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position that shapes process design and project execution. /p ul liDevelop and improve processes; write study specifications /li liCreate material and utility balances for unit operation and cost clarity /li liSize equipment and installations with cross-functional support /li liCollaborate with RD to validate new processes or improvements /li liPrepare PFDs, PIDs, process descriptions and operating manuals /li liConduct preliminary safety studies and participate in HAZOP reviews and relief device design /li liTrain end-users on installed equipment /li liPropose lab or pilot trials based on industrial issues /li liSupport RD projects and PMMA grade industrialization /li liContribute to project lifecycle from equipment design to variable cost calculations /li liCoordinate with engineering firms and validate documents; engage with suppliers /li liOversee construction phase; train engineers on projects /li liPrepare Process Design Package with the technical office /li liPlan test runs, sampling, and result interpretation /li liEnsure timely startup with required product quality and production capacity /li liProvide operations support and coordinate improvement actions /li liTroubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective actions /li liImplement Management of Change (MOC) processes /li liMaintain process documentation for workshop and engineering projects /li liExplore new technologies to boost performance or address recurrent issues /li liMay supervise process trainees/interns /li liSupport implementation of new investment projects by Technical Office /li liWork with Global Manufacturing and Engineering project teams as needed /li liBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field /li liProven experience in process engineering in an industrial setting /li liStrong knowledge of process design, equipment sizing, and safety analysis /li liExperience with PFDs, PIDs, and process descriptions /li liExperience with safety reviews (HAZOP) and pressure relief device design /li liStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities /li liAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills /li liExperience with RD support and process optimization is a plus /li liAbility to manage multiple projects in parallel and support production teams /li liFluent in English and Italian /li liteam collaboration /li lieffective communication /li liproblem-solving /li liPFDs and PIDs /li /ul pPMMA Process Engineer - Italy milano, lombardia, it /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
