Thanks to the extensive know-how of nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers, we offer innovative solutions and processes to fully enable the energy transition. /p h3About the role /h3 pThe candidate will support the “Head of Circular Economy” in the Engineering Projects activities associated with the initiatives in the “Circular Economy”. /p pThe candidate will actively contribute to expanding the business development pipeline by generating new project opportunities with potential clients. Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing, following up and securing the acquisition of new contracts for NextChem. /p h3Key Activities Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop Process Design activities during proposal and project execution phase in compliance with time, quality and budget requirements /li liDesign, develop and implement all process design activities relevant to the technologies in the portfolio /li liCarry out process analysis and simulations to evaluate the efficiency of the processes /li liPrepare Heat and Material Balance /li liDevelop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID). /li liEquipment sizing and process data sheet compilation /li liDefinition and sizing of lines /li liPSV, Control Valves calculation and sizing /li liLogical definition and control loops /li liHazOp, HazId support /li liPrepare Process Duty Specifications for RFQ and provide support for the technical process compliance /li liProvide support to engineering disciplines in the development of detailed design. /li liCarry out feasibility studies /li liAssist with the supervision of new plant and machinery installation, as well as start-up operations. /li liCollect and analyze data to evaluate process performance /li liKnowledge of international best practices and engineering standards /li /ul h3Personal Attributes /h3 pKnowledge Qualifications: /p ul liMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 5-7 years of experience in similar roles with aptitude for learning chemical processes and production activities /li liKnowledge of production processes, production methods and technologies /li liProficiency in process simulation software (ASPEN, HYSYS, etc.) /li liKnowledge of AutoCAD basic features /li liExcellent use of MS Office system (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point) /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liProven professional experience in the chemical, petrochemical, refining or fuel sectors, with involvement or exposure to sustainability initiatives (i.e. strategic business repositioning, access to new sustainable technologies) or special projects concerning circular economy or energy transition. /li liProven experience developing Feasibility, process Design Packages, Basic Design Packages, FEED and EPC Projects /li /ul h3Skills and Abilities /h3 ul liExcellent IT and analytical skills /li liAttitude to learn new technologies /li liAttitude for self-management for project development and completion /li liAnalysis and problem-solving skills /li liFlexibility and adaptability /li liTeam-oriented, self-motivated, with a focus on timely performance and problem resolution /li liStrong communications and interpersonal skills /li liWillingness to travel in Italy and abroad. /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 ul liAssociate /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull-time /li /ul h3Industries /h3 ul liChemical Manufacturing /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
