Senior Cyber & Tech PI Underwriter

ppWe’re looking for an experienced Cyber/Tech PI Underwriter or Broker to play a key role in shaping the future of our Cyber portfolio. You’ll join our Global Speciality business as a senior member of the Cyber team, with significant authority on complex risks and a clear mandate to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Tech PI Underwriting forms part of the Cyber Vertical at Global Specialty. /ppYou’ll combine deep technical Cyber / Tech PI underwriting expertise with strong business and financial acumen, a winning trading mindset and a clear focus on customer and broker relationships. /ph3What will you be doing? /h3ulliLeading and executing the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio optimisation. /liliUnderwriting complex and high-value Cyber / Tech PI risks in line with our appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, with a clear commitment to risk quality, governance and best-in-class pipeline management / business development. /liliUsing data, portfolio insights and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions, identify trends and support innovation in products, propositions and underwriting approach. /liliBuilding, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and customers, acting as a visible and trusted point of contact for Cyber Tech PI. /liliCollaborating closely with the Head of Cyber and wider leadership to shape and deliver underwriting strategy, bringing commercial insight and experience across different market cycles. /liliProviding technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues, helping to build capability and foster a high-performance, learning culture. /liliWorking effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (including claims, actuarial, portfolio management, operations and senior leaders), managing priorities and “managing up” with credibility and confidence. /liliSupporting a culture of continuous improvement, including process enhancement, knowledge sharing and the use of new tools, data and ways of working. /li /ulh3What are we looking for? /h3h3Technical Expertise: /h3ulliProven experience as a Cyber and/or Tech PI Underwriter or Broker, with strong market contacts and a track record of delivering profitable growth. /liliDeep understanding of Cyber Tech PI exposures, controls, coverages and emerging trends. /liliStrong technical underwriting skills and commitment to risk quality and governance. /li /ulh3Breadth of Business Experience: /h3ulliStrong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial information, understand PL drivers and make decisions that support sustainable portfolio performance. /liliExperience operating across different market and business cycles, with the ability to adapt trading strategies accordingly. /liliDemonstrated ability to drive results, take ownership of targets and contribute to planning and portfolio steering. /li /ulh3Leadership Capabilities: /h3ulliA winning / trading mindset, with the confidence to take well-judged underwriting positions and negotiate effectively. /liliExperience of providing technical leadership, coaching or mentoring to others. /liliAbility to translate strategy into execution, prioritising effectively and delivering through collaboration. /liliClear market orientation: customer focus, relationship-building and openness to innovation. /liliConfident, data-driven communicator who can influence multiple stakeholders and inspire credibility. /liliProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-moving environment /liliA commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing and driving best practice across the team. /li /ulh3Key Information /h3ullibLanguage Requirements: /b Fluency in both bItalian /b and bEnglish /b (written and spoken) is essential for this role, as you will interact with local brokers/clients as well as international stakeholders. /lilibLocation: /b Milan, Italy (with hybrid working options). /lilibBase Salary Range: /b from 55.000 EUR per Year /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
