Country Manager - Italy

Salary: Up to €110,000 + bonus, company car and benefits (some flexibility for the right candidate)

Location: Remote, North Italy

CSG are proud to be exclusively partnering with a global acute and critical care equipment manufacturer that is looking to appoint a new Country Manager - Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial leader, the business is indirect/B2B at the moment and looking to continue to drive revenue, market share growth and develop a more direct business growing a Italy team over time.

This is a hands on commercial leadership opportunity, the role will begin as a hands on individual contributor but we have expectations for the position to quickly transition into management as we recruit, grow and develop a direct team in Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver an Italian sales, clinical and marketing strategy across all equipment areas, delivering YOY growth and working towards key 3-5 year financial milestones
• Develop a local and high quality KOL network in Italy
• Analyse and further develop the Italian marketing strategy, messaging and branding, working closely with the senior/global marketing team to ensure the products, solutions and wider business are aligned with Italian market needs and expectations.
• Create a sales and marketing strategy around targeted and strategic accounts, ideally where they can adopt the entire portfolio, complex solutions and showcase the business as high quality equipment and hospital solutions provider in Italy
• Analyse and reorganise a high quality distributor/dealer model, ensuring we have high quality exclusive partners and cover all possible market opportunities
• Support and drive the indirect channels to further develop the brand, product adoption and continue to grow that business
• Grow and further develop the Italian team as the business continues to expand
• Oversee all Italy functions, including customer services, regulatory/compliance, operational and financial management
• Work closely with global leadership and other international teams to ensure the Italy business strategy is aligned with wider company objectives

Requirements:

• Direct and recent experience selling acute/critical care, medical imaging and/or IVD equipment into the Italian hospital market
• Ideally a proven track record of, or an in depth of how to move an indirect model to a far more direct model in Italy
• Experience growing and developing cross functional teams
• Experience developing and executing Italian sales, marketing and market development strategies
• Strong commercial leadership experience, with the ability to operate strategically and independently to grow a direct business from the ground up
• Willingness to travel throughout the Italy
• Legal right to work in the Italy
• Currently based in Italy
• Fluent in English and Italian
