The Role: Managing Director, Italy

We are looking for a Managing Director to grow the Italian business. This is a pivotal role offering significant autonomy and the chance to step into a full country leadership position, backed by strong support from European and global leadership. Prior experience running a full business would be appreciated but is not mandatory. This role suits an ambitious senior agency leader ready to take ownership, drive growth and build momentum, with a mission to ignite growth, support the team’s development and reinforce the agency’s presence in the Italian tech communications market.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving revenue growth in Italy through new business development, leveraging and expanding a strong personal network across the Italian tech ecosystem
• Personally leading prospecting, pitches and commercial conversations, converting relationships into long-term client partnerships and growing existing accounts through strategic counsel
• Acting as a visible ambassador for the agency in Italy, strengthening its reputation through industry events, networking and thought leadership
• Positioning the agency beyond traditional PR towards integrated communications solutions, working with European and global teams to bring international opportunities into Italy
• Acting as a senior trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and a strong, insight-led client experience
• Stabilising and growing the Italian team, leading with a hands-on, inclusive and motivating style, setting clear direction, goals and processes
• Supporting the team’s professional development and career progression
• Taking day to day leadership of the Italian business, working closely with international leadership on strategy and priorities, while building financial and operational leadership experience

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a PR, communications or integrated agency environment is essential
• A background in technology or innovation
• Proven involvement in business development and client growth
• A strong existing network in Italy and a genuine passion for relationship building
• High energy, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial drive

• Fluency in Italian and English
