And together, you'll build something worth being proud of. /p h3What you'll be doing /h3 pAs our Software Engineer, Backend, in the Business Team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of digital payments by designing and building scalable, high-quality systems. /p pHere’s what that looks like in practice: /p ul lipbOwn the Story Lifecycle - /b Complete the entire story lifecycle from intake to production release, ensuring all requirements are met for product stories. /p /li lipbBuild Business Financial Systems - /b Develop and maintain services for fee calculations, invoicing, payout orchestration, and settlement flows to ensure accuracy for thousands of businesses. /p /li lipbDeliver Compliance Reporting Solutions - /b Contribute to systems handling periodic reviews, risk assessments, and transaction reporting to support regulatory requirements. /p /li lipbContribute to Technical Excellence - /b Conduct technical analysis for standard scope stories and implement robust, scalable back-end solutions. /p /li lipbWork in an AI Engineering Culture - /b Use AI as a core part of your engineering workflow to accelerate development and deepen analysis while keeping quality and judgment at the center. /p /li lipbGrow Your Technical Voice - /b Share your vision with the team through code reviews and technical discussions, building the skills to become a technical reference for the pod. /p /li lipbEnsure Quality and Stability - /b Accurately estimate effort, resolve blockers promptly, and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis. /p /li lipbDocument and Communicate - /b Create comprehensive technical documentation for the features you build and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. /p /li /ul h3Who we're looking for /h3 pThis role needs someone who is a problem solver, eager to learn, owns their work, and is ready to collaborate and take real ownership. /p ul lipbExperience Technical Foundations - /b At least 3 years of industry experience working with Java and a foundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus). /p /li lipbTeamwork and Communication - /b Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, contributing to team-level knowledge sharing and building trust with peers. /p /li lipbFinancial Domain Awareness - /b Interest in – or experience with – financial systems such as billing, invoicing, payouts, or settlement processes. /p /li lipbUser Focus - /b Care about the end result and how the back-end supports a great experience for businesses, with a genuine interest in FinTech as a plus. /p /li lipbLanguage proficiency - /b Fluent in English, both written and spoken. /p /li /ul pDon’t worry if you don't tick every box.
