ph3The Electrical Engineer (Nuclear) will be responsible for: /h3 ul liDesigning, maintaining, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems within nuclear power plants, research facilities, and other nuclear installations. /li liWorking with high-voltage power distribution, emergency backup systems, instrumentation and control (IC) systems, and regulatory compliance to ensure uninterrupted and safe plant operations. /li liCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including reactor operators, regulatory agencies, and maintenance personnel, to optimize performance and safety. /li /ul h3Potential Next Steps /h3 pAs the company is expanding rapidly and planning international growth in 2026, the right candidate may be considered for regional and/or global responsibilities. /p h3Your Responsibilities Will Include: /h3 ul liDesigning, analyzing, and optimizing electrical systems, including power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and emergency backup systems. /li liEnsuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission), IEEE, ANSI, and other regulatory and safety standards. /li liMaintaining and troubleshooting plant electrical systems to prevent failures and minimize downtime. /li liDeveloping and implementing electrical safety protocols, testing procedures, and maintenance schedules. /li liWorking with instrumentation and control (IC) systems for reactor monitoring, automation, and safety mechanisms. /li liSupporting plant modifications, system upgrades, and retrofits to enhance efficiency and regulatory compliance. /li liConducting fault analysis, power flow studies, and protective relaying coordination for electrical systems. /li liCollaborating with reactor engineers, civil engineers, and safety specialists to integrate electrical components into plant designs. /li liAssisting in regulatory audits, inspections, and documentation related to electrical systems. /li liProviding technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance teams regarding electrical safety and operations. /li /ul h3Who We Want to Work With: /h3 ul libEducation: /b Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. /li libExperience: /b 3-7 years in electrical engineering, preferably in nuclear, power generation, or industrial environments (entry-level positions may require internships or co-op experience). /li libCertifications (Preferred): /b PE (Professional Engineer) license, IEEE certifications, or NRC-related qualifications. /li libUnderstanding: /b Strong comprehension of power generation, distribution, and electrical system reliability. /li libProficiency: /b In electrical design and analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD Electrical). /li libKnowledge: /b Of nuclear safety standards, regulatory compliance, and emergency power systems. /li libFamiliarity: /b With digital and analog control systems, instrumentation, and automation in nuclear facilities. /li libStrengths: /b Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. /li libSkills: /b Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, operators, and regulatory agencies. /li libAttention to Detail: /b High attention to detail and a strong commitment to nuclear safety and compliance. /li libAbility: /b To work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple projects. /li /ul h3Preferred: /h3 ul liIPO experience. /li liWritten and oral fluency in Italian. /li liAbility to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
