Senior Sales Manager MICE

The Palace Company Europe is seeking a Senior Sales Manager MICE to join its sales team.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director MICE & Corporate, the candidate will be responsible for driving the development, promotion and sale of the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts Collection across the MICE, Wedding and Corporate segments , managing an established portfolio of national and international accounts and developing new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and develop a portfolio of national and international MICE, Wedding and Corporate accounts, strengthening long-term relationships and identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities across the Collection;
• Develop and implement sales action plans, proactively generating new business through prospecting, sales calls and an established network of contacts, while managing the entire sales process from enquiry to negotiation and closing;
• Act as a senior and autonomous representative of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, managing client and partner relationships and organizing client events, sales activities and educational/familiarization trips to generate new business;
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity and industry trends, identifying new markets and segments and providing relevant market intelligence and recommendations to the Sales Director;
• Monitor MICE, Wedding and Corporate sales performance, identifying gaps and opportunities and taking corrective actions to achieve and exceed annual sales targets, while ensuring accurate and up-to-date account information in the PMS;
• Develop strong relationships with LHW, key industry partners and internal stakeholders, represent Baglioni Hotels & Resorts at trade shows and industry events, and contribute to the wider sales network by sharing market knowledge and business intelligence.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales MICE department, preferably gained in 5-star hotels or luxury hospitality groups;
• Established network of MICE, Wedding and Corporate contacts, with strong business development and relationship-management skills;
• Strong negotiation, commercial and communication skills, with the seniority and confidence to independently represent a luxury hospitality brand in front of high-profile clients and partners;
• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken; Knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
• Willingness to travel frequently for client visits, trade shows, and site inspections.

What we offer:

• Full-time contract with a gross annual salary in the range of €40,000–€45,000 will be offered, depending on the candidate’s seniority and experience;
