Their expertise covers the entire space lifecycle - from satellite testing and launch services to spacecraft operations, space surveillance, and data management - driving innovation in the New Space era.We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Service Desk Operator to join the team, able to work autonomously in a structured environment and collaborate effectively within an already well-defined team.For this role, relocation to Rome is mandatory for candidates living far from the area, unless they are able to commute regularly.A B2/C1+ level of English is required due to regular interactions with European stakeholders and documentation in English.Contract type: fixed-term, with the possibility to move to a permanent position depending on future opportunities.YOUR TASKSFirst Level ActivitiesActing as the first interface to users, managing email distribution in MS Outlook / ServiceNow ticketing system.Routing, assigning, tracing and monitoring requests in ServiceNow.Operations of Data Access and User ManagementData Access management supportUser profiling verification and moderation, applying different policies.Handling data access requests involving manual intervention and ensuring approval within the expected timeline.Implementing data access rights as per applicable directives for new missions.Handling new project proposals, implementing the start-up process (user notification, registration of project).Managing data access rights/quota allocation (generation of an account or provision of access details) for datasets with restrictions.User Account management support (Identity Access Management / SSO)Supporting users’ account enquiries, providing dedicated information and instructions.Keeping users’ personal information up to date and consistent, preventing false country locations or generic institutions.Lock/unlock, activate/deactivate SSO accounts.Troubleshooting incompatibility with the ticketing system, ensuring data consistency among the different tools and keeping the relevant database(s) cleaned and aligned.Documentation & ReportingOfficial documents/procedures collection.Contribution to weekly and monthly reports.Internal working instructions creation and maintenance.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEStrong customer orientation, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills.Very good command of English (indispensable), including the ability to write and understand technical documentation predominantly written in English.Ability to adapt to an already well-defined team.MS Office suite and general knowledge of common office tools.Ability to work autonomously in a structured environment.Familiarity with ServiceNow (or similar ticketing tools) is considered a strong asset.Earth Observation knowledge is considered preferable.EXTRA INFORMATIONLocation: Rome (Anagnina Area), ItalyRelocation: Relocation to Rome is mandatory for candidates living far from the area, unless they are able to commute regularlyEnglish: B2/C1+ requiredContract type: Fixed-term, with the possibility to move to a permanent position depending on future opportunitiesOnce we receive your CV, we will take time to evaluate it carefully.
