This role includes providing a technical support service to customers onsite. /liliTo proactively support sales opportunities where the technical offering is key to order realisation and/or valued by the customer. /liliTo provide conceptual proposals of sealing and material solutions for customers. /liliTo provide and support product and application training for internal and external sales staff. /liliTo identify the need for new products and materials and to support the Manufacturing Business Units as required for projects that impact the Italian and global market. /liliTo recognise and interpret International, National, Customer and Company specifications. /liliTo produce and assist in the production of technical material and data for the use of James Walker employees. /li /ulh3What You Bring: /h3h3Essential Skills Experience: /h3ulliSealing and polymer application knowledge /liliGeneral CAD design experience /liliCan read and create engineering drawings /liliAbility to interpret and analyse engineering data /liliPractical engineering skills /liliApplicants must have native‑level proficiency in Italian and professional knowledge in English /li /ulh3Preferred: /h3ulliAreas of specialist knowledge of James Walker product types and applications, ideally including power, valve, marine industries and high‑performance elastomer products /liliSeal design / application knowledge /liliPolymer engineering knowledge /li /ulh3Why James Walker? /h3pWe’re a globally trusted name with over a century of engineering excellence.
