Civil and Structural Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during feasibility and bidding phase / commercial proposal development.
• Provide technical support during the execution in all phases of the project.
• Perform technical tasks related to civil & structural engineering, including reinforced concrete, structural concrete/steel/pre‑cast buildings and relevant foundations; prepare technical/design specifications; design, verification and checking activities to ensure compliance with project requirements in terms of budget, time schedule and quality standards.
• Monitor and control man‑hour consumption.
• Manage change orders and variances from the scope of work in a timely manner.
• Work with 3D model environments.
• Interface with other discipline specialists to gather information and coordinate activities performed inside or outside the company.
• Gather and provide records of experiences to improve and harmonize work methodologies.

Education and Experience

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in civil & structural design, preferably applied to the oil & gas plant sector and/or FPSO within structured engineering companies.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the main international standards, codes and regulations and ability to analyze project requirements against local regulations.
• Knowledge of calculation methods for foundations, concrete works, and steel structures.
• Knowledge of construction materials and tests assessing their characteristics.

IT Skills

• Office suite proficiency.
• Experience with SAP 2000 / STAAD.
• Experience with Foundation 3D / Mat Foundation.
• Experience with Navisworks.
• Experience with Revit.
• Experience with DOLMEN IS Fuoco.

Travel & Location

Location: Milan. Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 month) is required.
