Junior Marketing & Communication Specialist - Internship

Do you enjoy giving a brand a voice and turning technical products into clear, effective stories? This internship is designed as a first step into marketing and communication within a technology-driven, international company, even without previous experience. Music & Lights designs, manufactures and distributes professional lighting solutions for the Film & TV, Live Events, Theatre and Architectural markets, used in more than 70 countries. You will join the Marketing & Communication team in a young environment, with a structured training path and constant guidance from experienced colleagues.

About the role

You will complete an internship at our HQ in Minturno (LT), within the Marketing & Communication team, following a structured 6-month training path (3 + 3). You will work alongside more experienced colleagues supporting brand communication across the various channels, with a focus on newsletters and social media, and producing content to support marketing campaigns and international trade shows, following the editorial plan and brand guidelines. It is an entry path designed to build concrete communication and digital marketing skills, working closely with the product department, the graphics and video area and the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production and publication of content on the social channels (Meta, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Discord) following the editorial plan, working alongside the team on community management.

• Work alongside the team on managing paid advertising campaigns (ADV) on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google (Search, Display, YouTube), supporting the monitoring of budget and results.

• Contribute to the SEO optimisation of web and website content, to improve search engine rankings.

• Contribute to writing and sending newsletters, monitoring their results.

• Work alongside the team on copywriting across the various channels and formats: captions, headlines, carousel copy, product claims, descriptions and scripts for video content.

• Support the preparation of periodic reporting (monthly and quarterly) monitoring web, social and PR performance, with analysis of engagement levels.

• Contribute to drafting and distributing press releases and support the management of relationships with industry media.

• Support the organisation of and presence at industry trade shows and events (materials, content, pre- and post-event communication) and the updating of website content supporting the sales network and distributors.

Requirements

• Strong motivation to learn and interest in marketing, communication and social media.

• Knowledge of the main social platforms and how publishing works on them, including at a personal level.

• A good aptitude for writing and care for the text (correctness, consistent terminology, no typos).

• Knowledge of English (B1 level), useful for content and industry terminology.

• Interest in and curiosity about AI tools supporting content creation (e.g. Claude, Claude Design).

• Basic IT skills: Microsoft Office and email, with confidence in the digital environment.

• No previous experience in the role is required: any prior experience, even brief, in copywriting, social media or communication - including academic projects - is welcome.

Preferred skills

• First experience, including personal or academic projects, in copywriting, social media management and/or communication.

• Familiarity with CRM marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot or equivalent) or social media management tools (e.g. PostPickr).

• Basic knowledge of graphics and the ability to work with designers and videomakers (knowledge of tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).

• Knowledge of or interest in paid advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads).

• Basic knowledge of SEO and of content optimisation for search engines.

• Background in communication, marketing, languages or related fields (preferred).

Soft skills

• Sharp attention to detail and care for the text.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several activities in parallel.

• Teamwork and problem-solving mindset.

• Openness to communication and interpersonal relationships, comfortable with direct customer contact in person and by phone.

• Willingness to learn and curiosity about the digital marketing world.

Contract and compensation

• Contract: 6-month internship, structured as a 3 + 3 month training path.

• Monthly allowance: €800 per month for the first 3 months, €1,000 per month for the following 3 months.

• Working arrangement: full time, at our HQ in Minturno (LT), with a dedicated company tutor.

• Benefits: company canteen and company gym.

The internship is designed to lead to employment under an apprendistato professionalizzante (professional apprenticeship) contract, a path leading to the full Marketing & Communication Specialist role.
