Account Director, Specialist Sales Support Office

In this role you drive MICE growth for seven Hilton hotels in Italy by expanding existing accounts and nurturing strong relationships with clients and partners. You act as an on-property extension of the sales teams, coordinating with Hilton Worldwide Sales to convert inbound opportunities and advance selected international markets. You work independently, stay organized, and contribute to achieving sales targets that fuel hotel performance. This role offers exposure to cross-hotel collaboration and a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

• Manage national and international MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners and corporate accounts
• Identify customer needs and maximize sales opportunities and conversion
• Acquire new customers through industry events, networking and prospecting
• Understand market conditions and competitive landscape within each destination
• Identify and analyze market trends and emerging opportunities within MICE
• Collaborate with hotel teams to increase sales, revenue and conversion
• Arrange site inspections with hotel sales teams and organize customer events as needed
• Develop emerging vertical markets and new business opportunities within MICE
• Native Italian and fluent English
• proven sales experience in MICE, preferably hospitality
• ability to travel as needed
• strong organizational and administrative skills
• excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
• portfolio of international MICE accounts and industry contacts (preferred)
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
