Their platform operates on distributed bare-metal infrastructure with advanced automation, delivering sovereign, high-performance compute for modern workloads. /p pWe are seeking a Senior / Lead Android Engineer (Staff-level mindset) with strong expertise in building robust, scalable Android applications. This role is highly technical, focusing on mobile system design, performance, and seamless interaction with distributed backend systems. /p pYou will play a key role in designing and evolving Android applications that interface with a decentralized cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure mobile experiences. Autonomy, ownership, and strong architectural judgment are essential. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and develop high-performance Android applications using Kotlin. /li liArchitect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions with strong emphasis on performance. /li liBuild intuitive, responsive UIs aligned with modern Android design principles. /li liIntegrate applications with backend services and distributed systems. /li liEnsure efficient data synchronization, offline support, and network resilience. /li liOptimize apps for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency. /liliMaintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation. /li liParticipate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to planning and delivery. /li liOwn the full mobile lifecycle from development to Play Store deployment. /li liCollaborate with backend and infrastructure teams for seamless integration. /li liImplement mobile security best practices and secure data handling. /li liConduct code reviews, mentor team members, and improve engineering standards. /li liDrive best practices in Android architecture, CI/CD, and release processes. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul li5–6+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Android Engineer. /li liStrong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK. /li liExperience with modern Android architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture). /li liDeep understanding of Android performance optimization and lifecycle management. /li liStrong experience integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow). /li liFamiliarity with data persistence (Room, SQLite) and caching strategies. /li liExperience with testing frameworks and debugging tools. /li liExperience working in Agile teams. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development. /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes. /li liExperience with mobile security (secure storage, encryption, authentication). /li liKnowledge of distributed systems or cloud platforms. /li liExperience in deep-tech, infrastructure, or performance-critical environments. /li liFamiliarity with observability and mobile analytics tools. /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 pOur client is redefining cloud infrastructure through decentralization and advanced automation, offering a sovereign, energy-efficient alternative to hyperscale cloud providers.
