About the Role

We are seeking a highly dedicated Client Advisor to join the prestigious Burberry team at Milan La Rinascente. Reporting directly to Store Management, you will play a key role in driving sales performance while ensuring every client interaction reflects Burberrys commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Service and Sales Excellence

• Consistently achieve and surpass individual and store sales targets alongside other core commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Deliver an extraordinary luxury service by passionately sharing the Burberry story, inspiring clients and creating a deep affinity for the brand and its fashion-forward collections.
• Engage clients through an expert understanding of products, styling, and fashion trends, tailoring recommendations to meet their unique tastes and requirements.
• Manage the complete client journey by:
  • Creating an exceptional and welcoming first impression.
  • Identifying and understanding client needs through attentive and empathetic communication.
  • Presenting products with styling expertise to enhance the clients experience.
  • Effectively closing sales while fostering long-term client relationships.
• Maintain client engagement post-sale by providing high-quality after-sales support including follow-ups and personalised communication.
• Support daily store operations to uphold the highest luxury standards in both customer-facing and back-of-house environments.
• Assist in product replenishment, oversee inventory accuracy, manage markdowns, and ensure the stockroom is well organised and efficient.
• Strictly adhere to Burberry policies, procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines to ensure a consistent brand experience.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and positive work atmosphere that champions teamwork.

Client Engagement and Development

• Develop and nurture strong, personalised relationships with clients to enhance long-term loyalty and engagement.
• Provide appointment-based personalised shopping experiences that deepen client relationships and facilitate incremental sales opportunities.
• Proactively acquire new luxury clients by utilising networking and clienteling strategies with a clear commercial focus.
• Drive client retention by maintaining regular and meaningful contact, addressing sales follow-ups and specific client requests promptly.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A proven record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets within luxury retail.
• Experience in clienteling and building a loyal client book through exceptional relationship management.
• A strong passion for fashion, art, and culture with a deep appreciation of luxury retail dynamics.
• Extensive product knowledge encompassing Burberrys collections as well as an insight into competitor offerings to effectively position Burberry in the market.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team-focused environment, contributing positively to shared goals.
• Fluency in the local language is essential; proficiency in English is highly desirable to engage with an international clientele.
• Additional language skills will be considered an asset, enhancing communication with Burberrys diverse client base.
