HCM Lead Functional Consultant (Italian speaking)

Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end Workday HCM implementations for a varied client portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into system configurations. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers from requirements gathering through deployment and knowledge transfer while supporting pre-sales efforts. You'll work within Workday's culture of integrity and collaboration, contributing to AI adoption initiatives and internal optimization projects. This is a growth path in a globally distributed HCM consulting practice in Italy.

Responsabilità

• Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations across multiple streams
• Translate customer requirements into configured solutions
• Act as trusted advisor to customers and transfer vision into configuration
• Support testing, issue resolution, and post-production knowledge transfer
• Engage in pre-sales activities and translate aspirations into configurable solutions
• Collaborate with Data and Integration teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Participate in internal initiatives focused on optimization and AI adoption
• Deliver 1–3 full-cycle implementation projects in the first year

Requisiti fondamentali

• 7+ years in HCM software solutions or systems
• 7+ years of consulting experience
• Business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Strong stakeholder management and trust-building abilities
• Detail-oriented problem solver with focus on exceptional customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn technology quickly through various mediums
• Remote work adaptability and autonomy
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
