Head of Office, Luxury PR & Communications, Milan

A Dubai-headquartered luxury communications agency is looking for an entrepreneurial senior PR leader to build and run its first Italian office, from a blank page, in Milan.

The Agency has built a strong reputation across the UAE and wider Gulf region, working with prestige brands across luxury fashion, hospitality, F&B, aesthetics and wellness, and lifestyle. Having established a firm footing in Dubai, it is now opening its first office outside the region, a deliberate move to place itself at the heart of the global luxury industry and closer to its European clients, partners and media. The move into Milan marks a genuine inflection point for the business: from a strong regional player into an international luxury communications group.

This role sits at the head of that expansion, reporting directly to the Founder and CEO in Dubai. There is no existing team, client base or infrastructure in Milan to inherit. You will be the Agency’s founding presence in Italy, responsible for winning the first clients, making the first hires, and establishing the Agency’s name and credibility within one of the most competitive luxury markets in the world.

Key responsibilities for the Head of Office role include:

• Leading the practical and strategic launch of the Milan office, working closely with the Founder and CEO on business planning, budget and structure
• Developing and executing a new business strategy to build a client portfolio across luxury fashion, hospitality, F&B and lifestyle sectors in the Italian and wider European market
• Owning the P&L for the Milan office, with accountability for revenue targets, margins and sustainable growth
• Acting as the senior client contact for the Milan portfolio, ensuring a calibre of strategic counsel and storytelling that reflects the Agency’s positioning
• Recruiting, mentoring and leading a team of PR, communications and social media professionals as the office grows
• Overseeing PR strategy, media relations, influencer partnerships and events for Milan-based clients
• Representing the Agency at industry events, launches and within relevant press and influencer circles to establish its presence and credibility in Milan
• Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships that extend the Agency’s reach and reputation across the Italian luxury sector
• Ensuring consistent quality and brand alignment between the Milan office and the wider Agency group, including regular reporting to Dubai leadership

What we’re looking for in this Head of Office role in Milan:

Significant experience in luxury PR or communications, gained agency-side, in-house or a combination of both, with a proven track record of senior client relationships and new business generation. You will have real confidence building a client portfolio and a team from scratch, and a strong, well-established network across Italian luxury fashion, hospitality, F&B or lifestyle media and influencer circles. Fluent Italian and English are essential; additional languages relevant to the luxury sector are an advantage.

Critically, this is a role for someone who thrives on building rather than inheriting. You should be genuinely energised by starting with nothing, not daunted by it: sourcing an office, pitching the first clients, making the first hire, and shaping how a Dubai-born luxury communications agency establishes itself in Milan. You will be joining as the founding presence of the office, working directly with the Founder and CEO from day one, with the autonomy to define strategy and team structure as the market opportunity dictates.
