Ground Operations Support Officer

Job Title: Ground Operations Support Officer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ground operational activities across the SkyAlps airport network
• Assist passengers during operational disruptions and baggage handling situations
• Support the management of ad‑hoc charter flights from start to finish
• Work alongside the operations control center as an integral team member
• Help ensure smooth, efficient ground operations even during challenging events

Qualifications

• Background in airport ground handling
• Knowledge of Departure Control Systems (DCS) and Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
• Basic IT skills with good knowledge of Excel and Word

Language Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written Italian
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Additional languages are an asset

• Ability to handle non‑routine situations when workloads vary unexpectedly
• Strong teamwork orientation and collaboration skills
• Problem‑solving mindset – finding solutions, not excuses

• Ability to work independently when needed

Work Schedule & Availability

Operations run around the clock. The schedule covers nearly the entire 24‑hour cycle, 7 days a week, varying with the season. Availability required for:

• Night shifts
• Saturdays and Sundays
• Public holidays
