As Engineering Senior Specialist – Customer Application Engineering, with Reciprocating Compressor Application, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the preparation and management of technical proposals relevant to Reciprocating Compressor applications with a critical approach to maximize value proposition for customers.
• Leading the definition of the technical strategy of the project, thus influencing customers towards Baker Hughes solutions.
• Taking care of the estimation/accuracy of the budget associated with the proposed solution.
• Preparing, within the required timeline, the most compelling technical proposal at first submission.
• Applying product and quality policies, addressing and mitigating any residual risk as per Baker Hughes procedures.
• Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending meetings/presentations with customers.
• Handing over the technical contract to the execution team in case of award in the smoothest way achievable.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Have at least 5 years experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, or equivalent technical role.
• Be fluent in English (spoken and written) with good communication skills.
• Have a willingness to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management.
• Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously with solid time management.
• Be available to travel at short notice.
• Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
• Be capable of working in a team and able to take decisions independently.
• Be open to work in multicultural teams and be open‑minded.

Initial pay range: €51,200 – €70,400. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
