ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bBuilding Structural Senior Engineer /b to join its office in Naples and Geona (Italy) within the bCivil Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pAs a Senior Building Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex building and civil engineering projects. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality project execution while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Structural Design Engineering /h3 ul liDesign, analyze and verify building structures, ensuring safety, functionality and compliance with applicable codes and standards. /li liPerform structural calculations and analyses using industry-standard engineering software. /li liPrepare engineering deliverables, including calculation reports, technical specifications and construction drawings. /li liDevelop practical and innovative engineering solutions throughout the design and construction phases. /li /ul h3Technical Leadership Coordination /h3 ul liCoordinate structural engineering activities within multidisciplinary project teams. /li liProvide technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior and mid-level engineers. /li liCollaborate closely with the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager to ensure successful project delivery. /li /ul h3Quality Compliance /h3 ul liEnsure all engineering activities comply with RINA's Quality Management System (QMS), applicable regulations and client requirements. /li liReview technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant standards. /li liContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices. /li /ul h3Client Site Support /h3 ul liLiaise with clients, consultants and contractors on structural engineering matters. /li liParticipate in technical meetings, design reviews and site inspections. /li liProvide engineering support during construction, helping resolve structural issues and ensuring design intent is correctly implemented. /li liContribute to structural assessments and evaluations of existing buildings when required. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Building Engineering or Civil Engineering /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering /li liat least 4 years of professional experience in the structural design of buildings and civil engineering projects /li liProven experience in the design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steel and/or masonry structures /li liStrong knowledge of structural analysis methods and FEM software /li liSolid understanding of construction materials, structural behaviour and applicable design codes /li liExperience preparing structural calculations, engineering reports and technical documentationAbility to develop safe, efficient and cost-effective structural solutions /li liNative or equivalent proficiency in Italian /li liFluent English /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liWORKPLACE DYNAMICS - Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently. /li liFORESIGHT INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making. /li liPERSONAL EMPOWERMENT - Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally. /li liINTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE - Skills and strategies we use to interact effectivey with others.. /li liDOMAIN BUSINESS ACUMEN - Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise. /li /ul h3Compensation Data /h3 pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€40.000 and €50.000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
