As a Medical Affairs Senior Program Manager, you will lead strategic medical initiatives that help shape clinical practice, support healthcare professionals, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Depending on business needs, the role may involve interaction with regional and global teams and occasional travel to support meetings, congresses, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with Medical Affairs leadership to ensure the successful delivery of programs that support the safe and effective use of Medtronic therapies and technologies. For example, The Hugo RAS system offers flexibility through modular arm carts that can be positioned to adapt to different procedures.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Medical Affairs programs and strategic initiativesPartner with Medical Affairs leaders to translate scientific and business objectives into actionable project plansCoordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational prioritiesDevelop and maintain program timelines, risk management plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and executive-level reportingSupport evidence generation, scientific communication, publication planning, and educational activitiesFacilitate governance processes, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across global and regional teamsIdentify opportunities to improve Medical Affairs processes, tools, and ways of working.Required Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a related disciplineSignificant experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Healthcare, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences environmentsDemonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs and projects involving multiple stakeholdersStrong project and program management skills, including planning, risk management, and executionExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levelsProficiency in developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicating progress to leadership teamsWillingness to travel internationally (>60%).Individual Contributor Role.Desirable qualifications: An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD, or PhD), project management certification, experience supporting global Medical Affairs organizations or teams, knowledge on surgical clinical procedures, surgical instruments and technologies and robotics would be advantageous.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. ‌Recruitment Fraud Alert We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
