The group also operates venues in Porto, Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds. /p pEach of our unique destinations blends design, creativity, and exceptional service, with exciting new openings on the horizon. /p h3ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA /h3 pOpening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental. /p pHoused in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian. /p pThe property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome. /p pbJoin Experimental and be part of an opening where creativity, passion, and the joy of hospitality come together on the Roman scene. /b /p h3ABOUT THE JOB /h3 pAs a Sommelier Maïtre, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional wine experience to our guests, from presentation and service to expert advice and cellar management. /p pYour main responsibilities will include: /p ul liServe wines at the table following professional standards: opening, decanting, presentation and commentary, tasting, and serving by the glass /li liMaintain excellent knowledge of all wine products /li liContribute to high-quality guest reception and service /li liPerform end-of-service tasks: cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the next service /li liEnsure all work areas are kept in optimal condition (cleanliness, maintenance, and functionality) /li liAct as a mentor: share knowledge with the team through tastings and training sessions /li liStay up to date on the latest wine trends and have thorough knowledge of the food menu /li liAnalyze sales to manage restocking and inventory /li liManage the restaurant wine cellar, including wine selection and placing orders /li liMonitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and preservation of bottles /li /ul h3ABOUT YOU /h3 pYou have proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role. You have an excellent professional appearance, and you are dynamic and motivated. You possess strong organizational skills, work efficiently, have a good team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills. You are attentive to detail and always focused on guest needs. /p pYou communicate easily with both teams and guests, using appropriate and professional communication skills in Italian and English.
