Vergiate hosts Avionics (AWS) domain, providing front‑desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, and technical support for aircraft developers, operators and maintenance centers. /p h3JOB OBJECTIVE /h3 pThe Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager for Thales Italia S.p.A. – Avionics Domain and Avionics Global Services – VERGIATE will work in collaboration with Vergiate’s Quality Manager and be responsible for maintaining aeronautical certification for the Vergiate Site as an EASA Part‑145/FAA Part‑145/TCCA CAR 573/CAA UK Part‑145 approved Repair Station (AS9110/AS9120/ISO…) and for ensuring proper application of processes and standards. The role also provides operational support to Vergiate’s Maintenance Manager on industrialisation and data‑management activities. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liEnsure monitoring of the correct and continuous application of the Site‑applicable processes. /li liExecute internal audits and support audits by the relevant authorities to ensure surveillance, renewal and acquisition of new required certifications. /li liMaintain the Documentation system SMS. /li liEnsure Quality Assurance role on support activities. /li liManage non‑conformities (customers’ claims, incoming material…) or gaps to internal standards and manage action plans. /li liSupport the Ufficio tecnico in activities managing updates and communication of maintenance documentation; manage current and future tools and means in use in the Vergiate repair station. /li /ul h3SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS /h3 pQualifications: Engineering Degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical or related discipline. /p pExperience: /p ul liA first successful experience in aeronautical activities EASA Part‑145 or Part‑21 is required. /li liGood knowledge in Quality/Safety Management System for aeronautic activities. /li /ul pOther skills: /p ul liLanguages: Italian (Fluent – speaking, reading writing), English (Fluent – speaking, reading writing), French (notions) – a plus. /li liTeam work adaptability. /li liSkills in electronics mechanics – a plus. /li liComputer skills: office suite. /li liSoft skills: rigorous, autonomous, good communication, reactive, proactive, curious, able to synthesize and flexible. /li /ul h3EEO STATEMENT /h3 pThis position is also open to candidates belonging to protected categories as per Italian Law 68/99. /p pAt Thales we provide careers and not only jobs.
