HEAD OF FINANCE & TREASURY CREDIT

As Director of Finance & Strategy , you will be the key strategic advisor to the General Manager of Glovo Italy - one of Glovo’s largest and most strategic markets. With full ownership of the country’s financial planning, performance steering, and strategic decision-making, you will play a key role in shaping the financial health, strategic direction and long-term success of the business in a highly competitive and fast-evolving environment.

You will lead a high-performing team that combines financial excellence with strategic foresight, partnering with leaders across operations, marketing, q-commerce, commercial and more, ensuring that every initiative is value-generating, and every euro spent creates real impact.

Lead a Finance & Strategy team that delivers insights, proactively identifies opportunities, and challenges the status quo to shape the future of our business.

Be the strategic right-hand to the General Manager : provide guidance on the country's roadmap, investment decisions, business model evolution, and other opportunities.

Lead annual budgeting , quarterly forecasting , and monthly performance reviews , partnering with all departments to drive transparency and accountability.

Develop business cases , scenario analyses, and predictive models to guide expansion, commercial strategy, operational optimisation and innovation efforts.

Partner with the central finance, strategy, and data teams to ensure alignment and best-in-class execution.

Own process improvement and the finance operations roadmap in collaboration with local and global stakeholders.

Support and oversee treasury and accounting needs as well as monitor and prepare financial policies and Financial Statements .

Represent the country in international forums , sharing learnings and helping shape Glovo’s global playbook.

10–15+ years’ experience in Finance, Strategy, Consulting, or equivalent high-impact environments.

• Proven experience in senior leadership roles , with full P&L exposure and cross-functional business acumen.
• Track record in leading high-performing teams , including recruiting and developing top talent.
• MBB) and/or CFO-track roles in fast-paced companies is a strong plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
• Strategic Mindset – You think 12–24 months ahead and connect data to ambition.
• Business Judgment – You see trade-offs, risks, and upside at 30,000ft and 3cm levels.
• Data Fluency – You know how to build hypotheses, extract insight, and challenge assumptions.
• Executive Presence – Able to influence and challenge senior leadership and inspire high-performing teams.
• Adaptable and positive mindset: possess a flexible attitude towards evolving roles within the finance domain; Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value and allergic to manual tasks!
