AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.

Drive operational security excellence in several separate facilities located within a short driving distance.

Identify physical security gaps and shortcomings and drive corrective action.

Interface with and direct vendors involved in security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning.

Extract metrics and observe improvements by analyzing hard data.

Make recommendations to improve electronic surveillance and access controls.

Direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions.

Write and implement security processes and procedures.

Write reports, create presentations, and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.

Experience with physical security best practices, including physical security systems, investigation techniques, and management of contract security guards.

• 6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
• Knowledge of administration and operation of access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.

College Degree (Bachelor’s) or background in one or more: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority, TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer.

• 2+ years security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education).
