Data Center Project Manager II, Critical Projects Implementation

Amazon Web Services (AWS) supports and operates global cloud infrastructure. The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activities within operational data center spaces, optimizing space, power, and cooling utilization worldwide.

Lead project oversight of electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines for data center improvement projects.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams across AWS to design, build, and operate Amazon data center facilities.

Identify opportunities for improvement, review data from other teams, and act on insights.

Ensure project execution aligns with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

5+ years managing projects in data centers or critical infrastructure with 24/7 emergency backup systems.

5+ years experience in construction or project management.
On-site construction trades experience in mechanical, electrical, general vendor management.

BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar technical focus.

5+ years experience in power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems.
