Investment Support Specialist

The function is responsible for overseeing the reception of orders entered into the record-keeping system for Funds, Real Estate Funds, Hedge Funds, or AIFs. This includes verifying that each order is consistent with the instructions received, forwarding it to the Middle & Back Office for execution, and carrying out any accounting updates or modifications that may be required. It also performs liquidity monitoring and management for specifically designated portfolios, operating exclusively through investments or divestments in money market funds issued by Group companies. Furthermore, it conducts ex-post checks and produces periodic reporting covering the areas of responsibility assigned to the Investment Function under the company’s internal regulations.

The Investment Support unit is part of the Investment Function of Generali Asset Management, reporting to the Head of the Trading Desk of the Company.

Verification and communication of orders on non-listed-fund and on Private Assets Fundsand related administrative activities in coordination with Middle & Back Office structure of the Company

Ex-post checks of the activities of the Investment Function aimed at verifying the compliance with internal regulations framework (e.g., Periodical controls and reporting on proper registration of orders, order breaching operating mandates, overrides of limits, cross trades, proper registration of client order register, correct archiving of due diligence and analysis related to investment/divestment operations

Support to the Head of Investment on managing compulsory duties assigned to the Investment Function overall such as maintenance of the mapping of the portfolio managers, of the operating mandate, annual definition of KPI performance of the department...

Project activities related to cross-functional Investment Function topics, from time to time assigned by the Head of Investment, mainly related to regulatory and operational aspects; Overall support and coordination to the Investment Function colleagues on cross functional topics

Point of contact for other GenAM Functions on cross functional topic related to the Investment Department (e.g., management of control functions’ recommendations, periodical update of internal regulation)

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Mathematic, Physics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science

• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services/ Asset management industry or in top tier consultancy firms with focus on Financial Services/ Asset Management
• Solid understanding of Financial Markets, Investments, Financial Instruments, Asset Management Industry practices and related Operational Activities • Good Command in VBA or C++ programming
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products (most of all Excel)
• Fluent in Italian and English

Familiarity on Funds and Alternative Investment

Background on regulatory aspects of Banking and Asset Management sector

Good command in French or German

Coding in other languages, Data Science and Power BI

Knowledge of Simcorp Dimension software
