Senior Backend Engineer - Platform

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and Typescript to join our fast-paced and innovative engineering team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems to allow an easy and smooth integration of enterprise-grade customers in our translation workflow.

Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure integration connectors, mainly, using Typescript and NodeJs.

Build high-quality reusable and modular code with a test-oriented approach.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of product owners, designers, developers, and system administrators.

Collect technical requirements and collaborate with the customers engineering teams.

Blend tech solutions that integrate humans in the loop with AI for translation.

Mentor other developers in the team and act as an evangelist of software excellence among the entire engineering organization.

Master's degree in Computer Science or SW Engineering courses.

• 5+ years of working experience in SW development teams.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and server-side development.
• Deep Knowledge of Typescript, and NodeJS (minimum 4 years involved in non-trivial projects).
• Very good knowledge of the REST paradigm in Web APIs.
• Experience with Git version control system and GitHub code review workflow (Pull Requests).
• Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is a must.
