Business Controller Italy (m/f/d) (Hybrid)

The Business Controller is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of operating expenses and analysing key financial indicators for the Italian cluster (5 existing hotels and 2 new openings on 2026) in accordance with USALI standards. This role acts as the preferred business partner for hotel management teams.

The Business Controller proactively enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the controlling function. He/she maintain close collaboration with the accounting department to ensure smooth cooperation between Accounting and Controlling, aiming for timely, accurate, and efficient completion of financial statements (e.g., Prepare actual P&L statements and monthly forecasts for all hotels in the cluster

Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions

Foster smooth, results-oriented cooperation with the accounting department and other internal stakeholders, including General Managers

Promote a collaborative project culture and encourage internal communication

Hold regular meetings with hotel management on material management, staff productivity, and financial forecasts

Place to work: Home office + Falkensteiner office Milan + short business trip on high season

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Controlling role

Master’s degree and solid accounting knowledge

Strong project management skills and a natural aptitude for data analysis.

Excellent knowledge of English language; German is a plus

Proficient in IT tools and advanced Excel skills
