Actuarial Analyst - Consultant

Gallagher Re Italy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Actuary to join our team, with potential involvement in Catastrophe Analytics projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and impactful projects, combining actuarial expertise with catastrophe risk modeling to support our clients' risk management and strategic planning needs.
This position involves actuarial modeling, risk analysis, reinsurance strategy development, and advanced catastrophe risk assessments
Develop and implement actuarial models to evaluate insurance and reinsurance risks, supporting the design of reinsurance strategies.
Partner with the Catastrophe Analytics team to assess risks associated with catastrophic events.
Monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory developments impacting insurance risks.
Automate processes and develop analytical tools using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including brokers, analysts, and other actuaries, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point, along with experience in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with actuarial software and modeling tools (e.g. Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
