Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer - Contract | Milan, Italy | Immediate Start
If you're an experienced I&C Engineer with offshore oil & gas experience and enjoy working on complex automation and control systems, this could be a great next contract.
A major large offshore oil & gas development project is looking for an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join the team in Milan, Italy . This is a 22-month contract running until December 2027 with an immediate start .
You will act as the I&C technical authority , supporting the design, integration, and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems for offshore platforms while ensuring EPC contractor work meets project standards.
Review control philosophies, logic diagrams and Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
Support configuration of PLC, DCS and SCADA systems
Support commissioning, loop checks and system testing
Assist with handover to operations
Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or Control Engineering
- 10+ years' experience in I&C engineering within offshore oil & gas
- Experience with offshore platform automation systems
- Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS systems
- Experience with SIL studies and control system testing
- Location & Contract
Contract: Immediate start - December 2027 (22 months)
