IV&V Engineer - Defence

With over 30 years of expertise, they specialise in IT and space services, offering operational and engineering support for Earth observation, satellite data processing, and applied R&D.
As an IV&V System Engineer, you will be responsible for system validation, test planning, and technical documentation in support of critical engineering activities. Define verification planning and establish test pass criteria
Write and review operational and functional procedures
Perform test evaluation and result analysis
Provide software support to engineering teams
Support operational and pre-operational phases
Strong understanding of System Engineering and Ground Segment subsystems
Experience working in Linux environments and virtualised infrastructures (e.g., University degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science & Engineering
Full professional proficiency in English (≥ B2) Nice to have:
Experience in space or defence projects
Exposure to Ground Segment operations Personal Skills:
Willingness to relocate to Rome (where applicable) and start a project with visibility until January 2026. Type of contract: fixed-term of freelance
