Backend AWS Engineer (Python)

For the strengthening of our AI, Data & Automation team, we are looking for a Search Backend Engineer with solid experience in developing high‑performance backend services and in designing scalable search solutions based on OpenSearch or Elasticsearch. development of high‑performance search services and robust data indexing and management pipelines;
degree in Computer Science or equivalent education, or proven experience in backend development;
hands‑on experience with Python development;
familiarity with distributed systems, cloud environments, and preferably AWS;
knowledge of search concepts (indexes, mappings, query design) and experience in monitoring, scaling, and tuning search systems;
excellent communication skills in English, with an aptitude for collaboration with international and cross‑functional teams.

knowledge of additional backend languages or frameworks;
excellent command of the German language;
technical certifications in cloud or distributed architectures.
