System engineering (it)

We are looking for an FDIR System Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for one of their locations in either Milan, Rome, Benevento or Turin, Italy.

In this position, you will help define the satellite FDIR along the whole project lifecycle, including concept, detailed design, implementation, verification, and in-orbit operations.

You will interact with the Lead system engineer and all the different disciplines as OBSW, Avionics, AOCS/GNC, Propulsion, Power, Thermal etc.

Upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information provided at interview stage).

Contribute to software specification

Contribute to user manuals

Participate in project technical and progress meetings

Provide support to in-orbit operations (LEOP, commissioning etc.)

If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection.

Master’s, PhD or equivalent education in a relevant field

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the industry

Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, mission and operations

Experience in various satellite engineering domains (eg. Operations, SW, AOCS/GNC etc.)

Fluency in English, both written and spoken
