Audible’s Business Development team develops strategic partnerships that deliver compelling differentiated experiences to accelerate Audible member growth and engagement. We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Development Manager to support our partnership and deal execution processes. This role combines strategic deal support, operational excellence, and project management to ensure successful partnership outcomes from initial negotiation through implementation and optimization. You’re a skilled operational professional with a keen eye for detail and a knack for navigating complex, cross‑functional initiatives. From maintaining the partnership pipeline to overseeing onboarding workflows and mitigating risks, you thrive on ensuring seamless execution. Your analytical skills empower you to conduct research, track performance, and identify optimization opportunities to drive continuous improvement. You’re also adept at building and maintaining partner relationships, balancing strategic and tactical priorities to support the wider business objectives. Whether leading implementation efforts or presenting insights to leadership, you excel at driving successful outcomes.
As a Manager of Busineses Development & Operations, you will
Support senior BD team in deal structuring, contract negotiations, and partnership agreements
Conduct due diligence research on potential partners, including market analysis and competitive landscape assessment, and prepare comprehensive deal presentations, business cases, and ROI analyses for executive review
Collaborate with Content, Business Development, Marketing Ops, Brand Social, Paid Media, PR and external partners to determine relevant offers and go‑to‑market plans
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for new partnerships
Facilitate regular cross‑functional meetings with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Technical teams
Analyze partnership performance data and provide actionable insights for optimization
Prepare executive‑level reports on BD pipeline, deal status, and partnership ROI

Bachelor’s degree
~3+ years of experience in consumer tech, big tech, startup, or media/digital media, with a focus on business development, partnerships, consulting, or project management

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
Experience with partnership or channel program management
Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and create actionable insights
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentation abilities
