In the role of Implementation Specialist, you will lead technical onboarding projects, helping new customers configure their Base.com account, integrate with their online stores and marketplaces, and get value from day one. Understanding of e-commerce workflows , logistics, catalog and inventory management
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
Comfort working with APIs, platform configuration tools, or basic scripting (e.g., HTML, PHP)
Experience working as a Sales Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
Familiarity with e- commerce automation, shipping software, POS systems, or CRM tools
Has managed an e-shop before
Coachable, agile and entrepreneurial

Build the Market (GTM): Execute the Go-to-Market strategy for Italy. Work strategically with eCommerce Managers and Operations Leaders to map how Base.Build trusted relationships with agencies, 3PLs, and Marketplace partners to create new revenue streams and referral networks.
Ensure accurate forecasting using our CRM (HubSpot) and maintain clear communication with HQ.
Market Feedback: Act as the bridge between Italian merchants and our Product Team, translating local needs into product improvements.
