ph3Senior Counsel Central South Europe Area /h3 pMaersk and APM Terminals are seeking a bSenior Counsel Central South Europe Area /b to advise regional leadership, manage legal risk, and support business growth across multiple jurisdictions. In this role, we can offer a full-time role, with flexible working arrangements, such as hybrid working, adjusted working hours, and other alternative working patterns. /p pProvide legal advice on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters. /p pDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (service contracts, joint ventures, concession agreements). /p pEnsure compliance with EU and local laws, including competition, sanctions, export controls, and environmental regulations. /p pSupport corporate governance and legal entity management across the region. /p pManage external counsel, disputes, and regulatory investigations. /p pLead legal projects and mentor junior lawyers. /p pCollaborate with business teams to align legal strategy with commercial goals. /p pImprove legal processes and deliver training initiatives. /p h3bQualifications /b /h3 pQualified Italian lawyer with 8-10 years' experience. /p pBackground in maritime, logistics, or terminal operations. /p pStrong contract drafting and negotiation skills. /p pKnowledge of EU competition, sanctions, export control, and environmental laws. /p pExperience leading legal projects and influencing senior stakeholders. /p pStrong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. /p pExperience with corporate governance and cross-border legal entity management. /p pProactive, solution-oriented mindset in an international, fast-paced environment. /p pItalian and English language proficiency are a must. /p pbLocation: /bGenoa and Vado Ligure, Italy. /p pMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
