The Physical Therapist Assistant II provides optimal patient care by implementing a physical therapy program to individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental and patient/family directed approach. Under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist I, II, or III, functions as a staff physical therapist assistant. Supervises PTA students and provides clinical education experiences.brPatient populations served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric for a variety of diagnosis to include but not limited to neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, pediatric, medically complex, inpatient or outpatient throughout the hospital system. /ph3Education /h3pGraduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. /ph3Experience /h3pNone. /ph3Certification/Licensure /h3pLicensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
