O&M Sales Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a driven individual to join Operations & Maintenance (O&M) in a sales capacity in either Milan or Verona, Italy. You will join our dynamic O&M team which currently operates around 75 MW of PV capacity in Italy, including a BESS project, with plans to continue expanding the portfolio. You should think innovatively, be a team player, and have a passion for sustainability.

As an O&M Sales professional, you will drive growth of the company’s O&M portfolio within the utility‑scale solar PV sector. The role focuses on identifying and securing new O&M contracts, building strong relationships with asset owners and investors, and promoting value‑added service offerings.

Key duties include:

• Scouting for new opportunities and developing sales strategies
• Preparing and delivering technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs and RFQs
• Leading contract negotiations and closing O&M service agreements
• Collaborating with technical and operations teams to define competitive service offerings
• Supporting project handover from O&M Sales to execution of O&M contracts
• Managing the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
• Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upselling or cross‑selling opportunities
• Staying updated on regulatory, technological, and market developments in the solar PV sector

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or equivalent) or Business with strong technical exposure
• 3–7 years of proven sales experience, ideally in B2B environments (energy, services, industrial, or similar sectors)
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals against targets
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in client acquisition and relationship management
• Interest in renewable energy is a plus (previous solar PV/O&M experience not mandatory)
• High motivation to quickly learn the utility‑scale PV O&M business and market dynamics in Italy
• Willingness to develop technical understanding through hands‑on exposure and internal training
• Results‑oriented, self‑driven, with a strong hunter mentality
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to engage with different stakeholders (technical and non‑technical)
• Structured approach to pipeline management and opportunity tracking
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Availability to travel within Italy
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, “build‑from‑scratch” attitude
• Valid driver’s license
